We love to travel. Not just the where are we staying? part, but everything that happens in between.

We love the anticipation of a trip, the first glimpse of a new place, finding a great little restaurant, snorkeling a reef, wandering a city with no particular destination, and those moments when you realize, Wow. I can't believe we're actually here.

That’s what inspired us to create Paper Boat Travel.

We’ve traveled to some of the world’s most iconic destinations, but we’re just as excited by the places that are a little farther off the beaten path. Maybe you want to see the Eiffel Tower or Machu Picchu. Maybe you want to explore Japan, take a river cruise through Europe, experience a safari in Africa, snorkel in the Caribbean, or discover one of America’s great national parks. Or maybe you simply want to get away for a few days and experience somewhere new.

Wherever you want to go, we believe travel should be about more than checking places off a list. It should be about experiencing them.

Our job is to help you figure out what kind of trip will be right for you, take the guesswork out of the planning, and find the experiences that will make your trip memorable.

We especially love helping travelers discover something new—whether that means finding an unexpected destination, putting together a trip you never thought you could pull off, or simply helping you get more out of a place you've always wanted to visit.

And yes, we can also book that hotel for your family reunion in Petoskey. Even if you have absolutely no intention of sleeping in Great Aunt Tallulah’s mothball-scented guest room.
